Indulge yourself with “Wagyu”, a supreme quality
Japanese beef – at Chiyo Restaurant in Chicago.
(Chicago, IL) - Chiyo Restaurant, (3800 W. Lawrence Ave., Chicago,
IL 60625) became the first and only restaurant in Chicago to serve
"Wagyu", Japanese beef that is air-freighted directly
from Japan. Wagyu is a first-class Japanese beef with supreme flavor,
tenderness and juiciness, with excellent marbling. It melts in your
mouth for a sensational burst of flavor from the very first bite.
At Chiyo restaurant, Wagyu is served in either Shabu Shabu (savory
flavor) or Sukiyaki (sweeter) style.
But just how good is Wagyu? The famous “Kobe Style Beef”
that is distributed in the United States is actually produced from
a crossbreed of Wagyu and American Angus cattle. You can only imagine
how good the full breed of Wagyu tastes in comparison. Chiyo Restaurant
is the only restaurant in Chicago that serves this delicious delicacy
of Japanese cuisine. Because of the limited availability of Wagyu,
it is sold at market price and dining reservations are strongly
recommended.
Chiyo restaurant is open every night until midnight (closed on
Tuesdays) and also serves Ippin Ryori, a Japanese style tapas (a
la carte), usually accompanied by Sake. Chiyo restaurant serves
over 30 types of sake, most of them available by the glass. Chef
Tozuka, with over 35 years of culinary experience, has teamed with
Chef Ichikawa who is a famous pastry chef in New York’s dining
scene. The dishes they create are culinary artwork. Please visit
www.chiyorestaurant.com, the Press Section, for more information.
